Fountain House Public Art Project

Fountain House is the home of the Anna Akhmatova Museum which is located in the garden wing of the former 18th century Sheremetev Palace. I was here that the poet Anna Akhmatova lived for almost 30 years with her husband, the prominent art historian and theoretician Nikolai Punin. This blog follows St. Petersburg artists as they develop a site-specific public artwork for the grounds around the musuem. The project(s) will be installed in early September in conjunction with an H2O exhibition.
